Notable Senate Races (winners in Red) Arizona - Kyl v. Pederson. We knew this would happen, no reason surprise. It was all that hatred of brown people running through “backyards”.
Connecticut - Lieberman v. Lamont. Whatever, Joe. You had better watch your bullshit from now on. Damn Ned, we were really rootin’ for ya
New York - Clinton v. Spencer. Another Prediction, I win.
New Jersey - Menendez v. Kean Jr. While I’m not on record as picking a winner (too busy making IROC Z28 jokes), I knew who would win.
Pennslyvania - Casey v. Santorum. Bye-bye Ricky-Baby
Rhode Island - Whitehouse v. Chafee. This was a complete surprise for me. I could have sworn Old Linc’ was coming back to town.
Maryland - Cardin v. Steele - Not that much of a surprise, even though Ben Cardin got his head handed to him in every debate. Michael Steele is a formidable foe, this won’t be the last time you hear his name.
Minnesota - Klobuchar v. Kennedy. Amy (meow) with the smiling face.
Tennessee - Corker v. Ford. The most racist and negative campaign in American history (or that I could remember) comes down to one thing. Single Black Men that get invites from Hugh Hefner, still threaten White Men and their white women. How sad.
Missouri - McCaskill v. Talent - RWG beaten by “The Housewife” I like that.
*Virginia* - Webb v. Allen - This race may be closed tonight, but this shit is going to go on for a very long time. Stay Tuned Virginia, 2000 was just a warm-up, THIS WILL BE WAR.
Montana - Tester v. Burns - Proof that if you can say you “HATE” people in Montana. You can win as a Democrat. We gotta watch this guy closely.
Notable House Races (winners in Yellow)
Pennsylvania (D10) - Carney (D) v. Sherwood. Proof Domestic Violence doesn’t pay (even if it is only a mistress).
North Carolina (D11) - Schuler (D) v. Taylor. Welcome back to DC, Heath. Hope you can stick around this time.
New York (D24) - Arcuri (D) v. Meier (R). Further proof that no matter what BS the GOP pulls (phone sex lines), the fine people of NY are smarter than them, wish I could say the same for Tennessee voters
Congrats to the one Governor I felt good enough for mention here this morning - Eliot Spitzer of New York. GO GET EM’ SPITZ.
